Zirconia Crowns

What it is

A zirconia crown is a full-coverage cap made from a single block of high-strength ceramic. It restores a tooth that is too damaged for a filling or veneer.

Who it is for

Heavily decayed, cracked or root-treated teeth, and as the final restoration on an implant.

How the treatment runs

We prepare the tooth, scan it digitally, and fit a temporary crown. Our lab mills and stains the zirconia, and we cement the final crown a few days later.

Common questions

Zirconia or E.max?

Zirconia is stronger and better for back teeth and implants; E.max is more translucent and preferred for front teeth. We will recommend per tooth, not per mouth.
